ABOUT JOSH

Josh Bingham

Josh is an accomplished chef and multi-disciplinary artist.

With over 17 years experience working in hospitality working as a Chef at the highest level, Josh has gained experience in some of the worlds best 1, 2, and 3* star Michelin restaurants, this includes a five and a half year stint at Raymond Blanc’s 2* Michelin Relais Aux Chateau, Le Manoir Aux Quat Saison in Oxford, England.

Cooking has taken Josh all over the world including time cooking for Richard Branson on his privately owned island - Necker Island, Bali’s most famous beach club - La Brisa, the jungles in Costa Rica, private households of France and three years spent working for Modernist Cuisine’s famous chef and author Nathan Myhrvold on his private superyacht.

  • Born in Bath, England, he grew up with a family surrounded by food, his parents owned a restaurant, with his Dad being the chef and his Mum head of service. This paired with a desire to have a life of travel inspired his journey into the world of cooking.

You may know Josh from the Bravo Network show ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ where he showcased his skills and talents in both cooking and music.

Josh doesn't like his creativity or identity to be limited to that of just a chef, he is very curious about the world, and has many different interests and other artistic disciplines that he pursues, such as, nutrition, yoga, music, photography, songwriting/poetry and movement.

This lead to Josh starting a music project inspired by his love of 60s and 70s rock ‘n’ roll in 2021 under the name Johnny Zephyr (previously named Pink Elderflower Moon) with his first album being released in 2024 and a second one to be released in 2026. He also enjoys film photography, making YouTube/music videos and his poetry has been featured in Lisa Marie Jarlborn’s ‘LOVE LOVE’ pop art magazine.

Josh also has a strong interest in Yogic and Eastern philosophy principles. He has completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and a diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching. He is currently six years alcohol and cocaine free and offers sobriety coaching to help others break free from the chains of addiction.

Josh believes that to achieve the best version from ourselves, we must lead a healthy lifestyle through whole foods and movement of the body. Food and movement of the body are not only art, it is also medicine.

Josh spends his time cooking all over the world for private clients, both land and sea and writing and making music along the way. He enjoys the intimacy of cooking for people in private spaces, this way he can really gift them with the best personalised culinary experience possible.
